Our Local Lodge Committees are made up of a groups of  trade unionists who commit their time and efforts, in a selfless and sometimes very thankless area of volunteering. We can always use more help from union members who want to help spear head the labor movement.

Organizing
Union organizing is one of the most vital functions of the labor movement. The IAM&AW is dedicated to organizing new members and are here to help you every step of the way to for a union. For more information please click Join the IAM.

Executive Board
Executive Board members are LL282 members from our community. They elected to serve their term based on nominated positions and are placed according to the Bylaws of the Local Lodge. They meet every third Wednesday of the month to discuss LL 282 business, just prior to General membership meetings.

Educator
Our Educator's page can give LL282 Stewards and our members vital insight as to what is the best way to represent your fellow co-workers in today's world. The educator also schedule training courses for our members to attend at the Winpisinger Education and Technology Center. 

Communicator
The communicator's job is to keep up to date with the Grand Lodge communications department and share any relivent information pertaining to Grand Lodge communications, other local unions, labor councils and bargaining units.

Women's Committee
The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers is committed to ensuring civil and human rights not only for all IAMAW members, but also for all minorities throughout our nation and the world.
